Wingnuts

Picture
Drones, workers and a queen work together building a hive.
A community that holds strong unto it's self, a system that
has been proven over the course of time.
Nuts and bolts hold fast, each making that important
connection that helps support the whole. Each doing their
part oblivious to the contribution the make. Unaware of the
size and scope of the world around them, only focused on
 the task at hand.

Capt. Tut

Picture
Alien beings once roamed the earth and soared our cool,
blue skies. Aliens known as Egyptians; master architects,
astrologers, and artisans known for their monolithic
endeavors and fine eye for beauty. Beings who migrated
from other worlds, other places; planet Earth only a stop
on their long journey, leaving questions of how and why.
Will they return? One day will they fly bye? Ask one who
knows a great captain who is entombed in his golden ship.

Song Of Nature

Picture
The rustle of leaves as the wind gently passes through
them; the violent thunder of a raging river, the quiet
growth of a seed pushing upward beneath your feet.
STOP! Listen as the symphony of nature tunes up.
Soon the rhythm of God's orchestra will fill your whole
being. Words put to song will dwindle when compared
to the overpowering melody of our Mother Earth.

Changing Seasons

Picture
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust; one generation fertilizes the
next. The big fish eats the little. The bigger fish grows old
and eventually withers away; becoming once again food
for the tiny fish. We could think it sad; we could think it
fate. The clock works of the Universe, continual cycle,
working to an end of unfathomable limits. If overwhelmed
and preoccupied by this concept, you will find your
inevitable destruction. Your head covered in dirt and your
mind full of hurt. Perceptions therefore should change.
Time is precious and focus should be concentrated on the
here and now, or on the feeding of generations to come.

Bathroom Splash

Picture
Music vibrates with sounds of rushing water, gathering
momentum as it splashes it's cadence of electrifying tunes.
Water cascades down stream through unseen labyrinths,
leaving drops of silence to remind us of unheard tunes.

Conflicting Opinions

Picture
If you think you hold all the answers, you are not only naive,
you are trapped in a shell. Opposition is the foundation of the
universe. Disagreements lead to discovery, as it ebbs the ego
to prove one's theories to be correct. Holding strong to one's
beliefs build the personalities that make us all individuals.
Acceptance of other views open the mind to limitless
possibilities. In order to find enjoyment and meaning in life,
we must realize we are not on a solo flight. Our development
 depends on conflicting differences.

One in a Million

Picture
We send our children off to bed. A story to fill their heads.
We go down stairs and turn off the lights. We hope not to hear
a cry throughout the night. Stories told often unfold as little
eyes begin to close. Dreams become real as a world is
revealed. Places of passions and delight, full of the strangest
sights. Frights braved off by heroic knights, love holds true
and feels strangely new. When morning breaks, the child
awakes. Life starts to come to view and we start to lose those
things we thought were true. A child's dreams are dashed, as
two worlds clash. When I lay down, I hope my mind will spin
around, and make my world forever abound.

Endangered Species

Picture
Once upon a time, the lion was king of the beasts.
The eagle owned the sky and the whale was at home in the
sea. Has man proved his point that he is the mightiest of
them all? We build our cement thrones on their humble
homes. We eat their flesh, and parade in their furs and
skins. We scoff at their pitiful cries as they scream for life.
Is our only worthy adversary ourselves? We think ourselves
superior for our ability to extinguish life, all done in the name
of progress. By giving a sense of improvement we are able to
justify murder. At what point do we discover the cage we are
erecting around us? The cage that is releasing the beast within.

Dressed For Success

Picture
A wolf can hide in sheep's clothing. A clown can put on a happy
face. Clothes can make the man. Clichés that say we can
change our inner self as easy as changing our coat. Man first
clothed his nakedness for protection from the elements. Skins
and wool and cotton too, protected us from the sun and dew.
The color, style, and patterns anew came to give us something
to do. We have since learned it wasn't the silk and flash, but
the inner soul that made us flash!
(By dancing around in our underpants.)

Cravings

Picture
You may crave chocolate, alcohol, love or fame.
Whatever your craving, if not given heed to caution,
your cravings will become your doom!

Cleaning Up Religion

Picture
Rock and steel were erected in an attempt to reach the
heavens. Sweat, blood and taxes made it so. Colored
glass and statues of saints adorn the walls. People
congregate to pay tribute to their maker in these man
made miracles. Beyond these edifices lay mountains,
seas, and deserts with beauty unparalleled. The great
size makes man's efforts pale in comparison. This is
God's creation; his home. Still we choose to brick out
his world to surround ourselves with our own handiwork.
So the question I ask is to who is our tributes offered to?

How Many Ideas Are Mistaken For Trash?

Picture
 The rustle of leaves as the wind gently passes through them;
the violent thunder of a raging river, the quiet growth of a
seed pushing upward beneath your feet. STOP! Listen as the
symphony of nature tunes up. Soon the rhythm of God's
orchestra will fill your whole being. Words put to song will
dwindle when compared to the overpowering melody of our
 Mother Earth.

Shattered Theories

Picture
Charles Darwin presented a theory of evolution. Written and
footnoted, categorized fossils, pictures, and skulls  reinforce
the wall of a possible answer to an age old question. Yet,
Theologians hold a theory not in their hands,  but in one's soul.
A theory based on faith; faith of one who knows all. By
breaking the bonds of death, the soul is  released to shatter
all theories showing just how little we know.

Under Cover

Picture
A river slowly licks the harsh edges off a rock to produce
a smooth polished stone. A black plume from a violent volcano
eventually turns back to blue sky. In the course of time, all is
changed: the young to old, the night to day. All we have
around us: we owe to generations gone past. Names and faces
unknown, but unique traces still left behind. A shell becomes
sand, but still tells a story of a long ago sea. So we must be
mindful of  our effect: whether it be good and fertilize life
itself, or pollutes with evil for those to come. For what lies
 ahead just needs be uncovered.

 Need we say More?

Peepers

Picture
 All eyes are on you!
The course you take is up to you. Do you take the socially
accepted path or do you follow the moral compass deep within?
